Designed to provide freedom in the upper register, the Dolce Bb clarinet plastic mouthpiece has been winning converts steadily since its introduction. If there is resistance in the upper register, simply "bump" the reed higher by making it harder, or increase the strength of the reed by .5. For example, 2.5 to 3.0. Helps lower pitch and provides a rich tone. Vandoren V12 reeds are recommended.
